Pokemon / Pocket Monsters question

Sportscard guy here but picked up a few of these recently...just wondering if anyone knows about them. They are 2 sided and one side is a holo-foil Charizard and the other side is plain. I believe Pocket Monsters came out prior to Pokemon cards. Does anyone know the year of this card and and maybe a value? I checked eBay and haven't seen any quite like these.

Yeah, I know there is a non-sports forum but it always looks like there is very little traffic there so thought I'd try here and see if anyone had info.

Fall 1996 for the early ones, given you card numbers probably a much later series.

You have a Charizard and a Lapras. The Lapras is a water type and has the advantage over the fire type.
