Just curious if anyone watched the final yesterday? I thought the California team played really well, but just left too men (err..kids) on base.
My main issue/complaint, as I had watched approximately 6 games prior to the final yesterday. The strike zone for all of the previous games was the size of a Range Rover... then in the final... it shrinks to the size of a pinhole. Why in the hell did they do that? Keep it the same that the kids are used to. I wanted to see if anyone else watched and what they felt about the strike zone issue. Finally, congrats to Japan, thought they played great and got out of a couple jams with only minimal damage.

The strike zones were inconsistent the whole way through; they more or less varied from umpire to umpire.
I didn't think that any single team or player stuck out this year as "exceptional" or "dominant."
