Check out these 1979 cello pack ebay auctions. The seller has 2 photos of each pack that he has put up for auction. On one of the packs the back of the cello pack has the card face up!!!!!!!!!! Has this pack been tampered with? I have never seen a cello pack with the card on the bottom of the pack face up. Here is a link to the auction.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
<< <i>Not at all uncommon for 70s cello packs. In fact, for 1973 cellos, the card on back should always be face out. The packs are fine. >>
It appears to have happened in the 80's as well... at least some times.
BBCE had a couple of football cellos listed currently like that, with one being a 1983 with Marcus Allen's rookie card showing face up on the back.
