Question about grading cellos

From what I understand, if the wrapper is clean with a nice tight seal, the most important aspect is the centering of the top card. Does PSA downgrade if the wrapper is so tight that it has obviously softened a corner or two? Any experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom

No, as long as there are no splits/tears. If top card is OC they will downgrade for that usually.

Didn't want to start a new thread since my question is related. I just started looking to get some cellos that I can then get PSA graded.

It sounds like if the card is damaged in any way by tight wrapping, then I should avoid it?

What if the top card is nice but the wrapper isn't tight? (brick-tight)

Lastly, does PSA or anyone else grade the thin, sealed packs of brands like Ralston-Purina, Long John Silvers, Walmart exclusive, etc.. that have the 4-8 cards in them?
