Help with 1968 Topps Bosman Variation

Was sorting some 1968s tonight and came across this variation. The one on the left is normal #442. Middle shows very light "pie piece" on the bottom of the green team circle, while on the right one, the "pie piece is more pronounced. I came across about a half a dozen of these in various shades. Is this a legitimate variation or just a printing mishap?
