New ANA Purchases-Quality Type Coins

I have a small assortment of coins listed below. Shipping and insurance are paid for by me and all items may be returned within a one week (7-day) period for complete refund. Payment accepted by personal, bank or business check or money order, USPS money order and PayPal options. I prefer to avoid the use of PayPal with the fees that are associated with this option, but if it is required please let me know. Any questions may be asked within the thread or sent to me via PM or to my email address of tbush@tbnumismatics.com. Thank you for your time.
Additionally, at this time I am also offering an advanced notice email option whereby you may receive descriptions and prices of all new purchases after each major show or, in the event that a larger purchase is made between shows, as soon as I have a nice group of coins. Simply send me a PM with your email address or send an email requesting to be placed on the advanced notice list. I will not hammer you with emails or a sales pitch; only the occasional update to my site. Lastly, if you would like to read more frequent updates as to my business, you may want to follow or "like" me on Facebook.
All coins listed on my website now have direct links under them with their certification number, which allows access to the NGC, PCGS and/or CAC database, as applicable. This has been instituted to better allow my clients to research auction history of a particular coin, confirm certification status, view possible alternative images and ascertain an accurate market price.
Please Note-
Several months ago I began to work with Bill Shamhart of Numismatic Americana. Bill and I have known one another for many years and in that time we have been friends and completed quite a few business transactions. Currently, my association with Bill and Numismatic Americana is comprised of a web-based support role and attendance at certain larger coin shows where I am behind the Numismatic Americana table. To avoid confusion, it is important to state that Numismatic Americana and Thomas Bush Numismatics are two separate, independent entities that are run by different individuals and that these two companies neither share inventory nor share or otherwise compromise proprietary, confidential client information. Therefore, the following points should address any possible questions regarding the status of our two companies and the policy of each company-
• No client information including, but not limited to, purchase and/or consignment history, contact information, want list or actual name has been or will be shared or otherwise blended between Numismatic Americana and Thomas Bush Numismatics.
• No coins or other inventory have been lent out or consigned from one company to the other.
• Any questions regarding inventory seen on a particular website should be directed to the contact information provided on that website. In other words, for coins or other inventory seen on the Thomas Bush Numismatics website please direct inquiries to Thomas Bush; and for coins or other inventory seen on the Numismatic Americana website please direct inquiries to Bill Shamhart.
• Numismatic Americana and Thomas Bush Numismatics will continue to be run as separate, independent entities with their own policies, procedures and practices.
Please feel free to send me an email at tbush@tbnumismatics.com should you have any comments, questions or concerns regarding this announcement. Thank you for your time.

1) 1840 Seated Liberty Dime No Drapery PCGS AU58/CAC

This is great type coin with wonderful color and good surfaces. It also appears to be an MS62, but PCGS saw fit to grade it AU58 and CAC did not give the coin a gold sticker. However, it still looks MS62 to me. These No Drapery dimes were only produced for three years and are quite desirable. $645.00
2) 1848 Seated Liberty Quarter PCGS VF35

The obverse of this coin features great skin that is predominantly grey with crud surrounding the raised devices while the reverse also is grey, but sports noticeable areas of orange toning hidden within the lettering. The No Motto subtype is decidedly more difficult to find than latter issues and pieces that are so wonderfully preserved are even more difficult to obtain. $495.00
3) 1855-O Seated Liberty Quarter with Arrows ANACS VF20

What at first appears to be an F15 coin within a VF20 holder is actually a true VF with the typically weak strike that this issue is known to have received. The surfaces are truly clean and devoid of marks while the speck of something that appears to be on the eagle on the reverse is actually a bit of loose plastic or some-such within the slab. $725.00
4) 1876 Seated Liberty Half Dollar PCGS PR65/CAC

The image that accompanies this coin is hardly what one might consider to be a glamour shot, which means that whomever takes this coin home is likely to be mighty happy when the coin is viewed in-hand. The coin has medium depth blue circling both the obverse and reverse that frames a violet and rose color in the center. This is what un-messed with Seated Liberty proof coinage can look like, but unfortunately most have been dipped over time. $4,395.00
5) 1892 Barber Half Dollar PCGS AU58/CAC

Almost uncirculated Barber half dollars have suffered a cruel fate over the years in that most have been dipped repeatedly to be sold as uncirculated coins. The advent of third-party grading has put a halt to much of this practice, but there was still over half a century of abuse within the market and those dipped coins will never truly recover. Here is an unmitigatedly original coin with some color sprinkled about its thick skin and only the lightest amount of wear. This coin is a true prize for the lover of original surfaces, but because of the small spread between AU58 and MS62 it is also a coin that many will overlook. ON HOLD
6) 1892-O Barber Half Dollar PCGS AU58/CAC

Here is the near twin to the PCGS AU58 1892 Barber half dollar that is also offered at this time. Again, truly original surfaces on a coin not often found with such and also on a coin that is quite attractive. The O-mint issue is generally a much more difficult coin to find for the date. $1,595.00
7) 1860-O Seated Liberty Dollar PCGS VF25/CAC

Who doesn’t love completely original Seated Liberty dollars with wonderful, grey-auburn surfaces that are devoid of nasty hits, marks and scrapes? No one! ON HOLD
8) 1878-S Trade Dollar NGC AU58

This coin looks as though it spent a long time in something similar to a leather pouch or purse. The wear is nearly non-existent and the coin has the look of one that was hidden for many years before it was again discovered. ON HOLD
9) 1899 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS63

YOWZA! I don’t know how to describe this coin other than to write that it’s freaking awesome and a coin that is attempting to place itself within my own collection. The toning on this coin is thick, wonderful and dramatic as all get out. Sure, it costs a bit for an MS63, but it’s amazing. SOLD
10) 1900-O/CC Morgan Dollar PCGS MS64/CAC

This issue has perhaps the coolest over-mint mark in US numismatics. The O mintmark struck over an incompletely removed CC mintmark is just as cool as it gets. Plus, this issue is not known for great color or toning, but this coin has that in abundance. $1,995.00

That's a really pretty lil super slider!

<< <i>Gorgeous coins! I'm not sure whether it is a slow server hosting the images or whether the file sizes are very large, but it is taking forever to load on my computer. I am using a broadband connection (just under 10 mbps). I thought I would give you a heads up because you may potentially be missing customers on slower connections. >>
Slowness isn't likely due to the size, if using a regular computer and not a smartphone/iphone/tablet.
I looked at the sizes and they are under 1MB. Using a regular PC right now, the page displayed quickly and fine.
One of the things I appreciate about Tom's listings is that he doesn't go overboard on the size, nor does he go minimal. The image size allows for a more true viewing when magnifying to look at the image.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Do you have any suggestions for what it could be? Do you think it is on my end? My connection is high speed and working fine. I am using a Windows 7 laptop with the most recent version of Chrome.

Very slow loading for me - much more so than other images on this site.

Just to add, the first pic is 1000 pixels in size, about 664kb.
On the 1200 pixel images I add in a web format, they are 237kb.
664kb isnt that large by itself, but when added with the other 8 or so you have then you have a 4mb download. That can get slow.
