David Lawrence Ancient coins

I juts noticed that DLRC sells ancient coins. I have not looked there in a while, this may not be new news.
Anyone have any experience with them with ancients?
I bought from them years ago with US coins, and was always happy.

They're all slabbed and VERY!!!! overpriced. If you like ancients in slabs them buy away but most ancient collectors like their ancients free from such horrors!

Most of those slabbed coins you can find raw & much cheaper, probably in better shape no less.

Agreed. DLRC's ancients are way over priced.
I collect history in the form of coins.

Or buy 'em raw and send 'em off to NGC yourself, like I do.

Can't comment on price, but it was great being able to compare 80+ Classical Owls of various grades when DLRC had them a few months ago. I assume I'm just looking in the wrong places, but most dealers have just a handful of Owls at any given time.
