Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Those cards look sharp all laid out like that. Please post updates when you get more. I've never paid much attention to the Kelloggs sets. I might have to get some of these for myself.

  • I love the look of the 70's set. What a great project.
  • I collect '73 Kelloggs as well as 1970. I really like the look of both. I'm sure you have seen several 70's ruined by cracks in the surface of the card.
    Good luck!

    Nice!

I put together the 1970 Kelloggs football set a while ago and will tackle the 1971 version one of these days.

But let's be honest, that "3D" lenticular technology ain't fooling anyone!

A number of releases tried it again in the 1990's (Sportsflix, SkyMotion, Pinnacle V2 inserts, etc.) and it wasn't a whole lot better then either.

Great pick ups, thanks for sharing. I haven't seen many of those cards.
I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid.

I've always loved the Kellogg's cards. I try to pick them up whenever I find them in nice shape.

    Great stuff.

    corncobb,

There are 75 cards in the basic set and 76 in the master set. There are two cards of Bob Gibson, one with 1959 IP and one where the IP is blank. I just picked up a nice raw Seaver to submit.
