Did Karl Marx collect baseball cards?

I read somewhere that he did until the first Beckett Price Guide came out.

    Yes, he did.

Then he cut them up into millions of pieces so everyone would have one. In the end, no one was happy with their scrap of paper. He went on to become a product development person for Upper Deck at the ripe old age of 180.

He did up until 1987 when his musical career really started taking off with singles like "Don't Mean Nothing" and "Endless Summer Nights".

    Wait... that's Richard Marx.

    Carry on.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

In a USA interview a few years back Carlos Slim said his first "business" venture was trading and flipping baseball cards in his school yard. However Mr Slim was not likely a avid follewer of Mr Marx
