ANA theft #2

Ouch. I hope the culprit is caught and caught quickly. It would be a real shame if that Argentina 8 Reales was lost / destroyed in the process. Not my area of expertise, but from what I've read it's a pretty rare error.

This is the type of inventory that thieves will sell for pennies on the dollar to an unknowledgeable fence. Let's hope that the material resurfaces soon.

Wow, that's terrible. I know that several dealers were staying at that Hyatt. I'm hoping this is the last of the bad news image

I can't imagine a richer target for any thief than the periphery of a show....

it's the definition of cash, but I agree that they can only sell pennies on the dollar in real value so... is it worth the risk? esp when the participants are most likely either a) wired up with security or b) packing heat themselves....

off-site just seems to smack of some sort of inside-support-services-facilitated-stuff... my 100000% uneducated public musings

Do you think that the dealer had this stuff insured?

Despicable. I hope they nail the fences to the wall. The original thieves will be tough to find unless it was an inside job.

    No.

    The stuff really was stolen.
