Quick pop report question: Is it safe to assume that if you submit a graded card from either SGC or BGS to PSA for crossover, that PSA contacts the other grading company and informs them of the necessary change to their published report such that it is removed from the other company's records? I want to believe the answer is of course yes, but I've never bothered to confirm it before. Items w/ high pop it probably doesn't matter at all, but when you've got something that is a pop 1 by any of the big 3 in total, it would potentially make a difference in value.

I have cards that were graded by BGS and crossed over to PSA that are still in the BGS pop report. I honestly can't see any reason why PSA would even consider doing such a thing. With the market share so heavily tilted in PSA's favor they would be helping out their competitors more then themselves in a scenario such as this. I realize it happens but there are drastically more BGS cards sent to PSA then PSA to BGS. I promise you this, PSA is not remotely concerned about helping keep the value of their direct competitors graded cards high. They do not assume the card with an equal numerical grade is the same either.
