PSA Discount?

Anyone know if PSA offers discount on larger submissions? I usually send in between 150 and 200 cards when the monthly special is decent but am never in a hurry and was wondering if I waited till I had 400 or 500 cards if they would drop the per card price? I plan on asking them that question on Monday but thought I would check to see if anyone here has any experience with this.

Wait until you get to 500 of the same general type and then email Support and ask nicely for bulk discount. They'll give you a break.

Best deal comes at 3000+, I believe.

Yes, that is much too small, they will refer you to the CC Specials.
  • I did call and ask about this a few years ago when I first joined the CC. I ended up talking to some guy named Roy who had me on speaker phone. It sounded like he was plowing his way through the Subway deal of the day as he brushed me off and I never did get even close to direct answer.

Joe said at a registry luncheon once that he'd be happy to work with anyone if they were grading an entire set. I took him up on it with a few sets and emailed him directly- he got right back to me with a very fair discount. It's worth emailing about, especially if you're not in a rush to get them back.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

FWIW, it only takes an order of 100+ to get a discount on supersize or T3.

That's good to know as I am building up a stash of super sized cards for submission. Thank you.

I had a 300 card deal for any year card under $100 with Roy that has continued to be honored

  • You will need to have 1500 or more to get $5 per card pricing. That's the answer I got when they had a bulk special at $5.75. That was within the last 3 months.
