question when grading 1952 Wheaties hand-cut

I have seen some cut with rounded corners, and some cut with sharp corners (like regular cards are cut). Is there a preference out there as to how I cut them down? It seems much easier to just keep the corners sharp instead of rounding them. And I have seen PSA 9s with both rounded and sharp corners.

Also, how does PSA grade hand cut? I assume I need to try to keep the borders as even as possible on all 4 sides. Any other tips? Thanks in advance.
