How much for a 1956 topps mays Psa 2

I have been out of collecting awhile and lately have been watching from a distance. A local collectors gallery is going out of business and marking a lot of things down including the baseball card case. They have a lot of vintage baseball which along with unopened vintage baseball is what I am getting back into collecting for. I spotted a 1956 topps Willie mays graded Psa 2. Marked down he is wanting $118 just curious how y'all think the price is? I have always liked 1956 topps. Thanks for help

Way too much. PSA 2s usually go for around $45-60. You can get a PSA 4-5 for around that price.

PSA Pro Football HOF Rookie Players Set Registry- (Currently 19.80% Complete)

Agreeing with others! It is sellers like that who give all the decent BIN sellers a bad name. That card should NEVER sell at that price.

I wouldn't say NEVER. If the card appeared Mint but had a speck of paper loss on the back and got into a PSA 2 holder I can (and have) seen bidders go far beyond the typical VCP price for a technical grade. I'm guessing that's not the case here though.

Agree with the other posters. According to VCP, the MOST EXPENSIVE PSA 2 to sell over the past 2 years (and this covers 25 sales) is $65.00.
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
