I've just had 8 more of my early Lincoln proof cents "Trueviewed" by Phil Arnold and the PCGS photographic group. The results are part of my Set Registry of Lincoln Cents with Major Varieties, Proof (1909-Present). You can see the 94 coin collection by clicking on the link below. Steve

My 1937 was purchased from Bob Cornell from Springfield, Massachussets in 1988 at a Danbury, Connecticut show. I was impressed with the iridescent colors, particularly on the obverse, when I viewed the coin under light and moved it slightly back and forth. To this day, after 25 years, this coin continues to show that movement of colors that is seen with the hand motion although Phil's picture obviously can't portray that movement. This coin is the only truly colorful toned proof in this collection and I'm very happy to own it. It is this example that lets me appreciate why so many Lincoln cent collectors want to own colorfully toned examples of the series.
Thanks again.
