Going to a live auction

I will probably try for the lot of quarters, is there anything else here that I should entertain bidding on? I like the Morgans as well. This will be my first time at this auction or any live auction for that matter.

"FRANKLIN MINT, THE GENIUS OF REMBRANDT, STERLING, 100 ozt TW" is sterling silver (92.5% Silver, 7.5% some other metal). If you can figure out the weight and do a quick calculation of the PM value you may be able to get a deal. It looks like there are over 30 of them. (I just found the headings on the photos so you have all the info that you need).

"FRANKLIN MINT, VITA CHRISTI, STERLING, 48 ozt TW" looks like some NICE art work, not sure what they are made from but from what I can see the art work is very nice.
Here is some info on them.

"THE FRANKLIN MINT, FATHER'S DAY INGOTS, 2 ozt EACH". 2oz Ingots are hard to come by. Not sure what the juice is on these.

"JFK HALF DOLLAR, .999 SILVER, 6 ozt".... Six oz image

"CARSON CITY MORGAN DOLLAR, 1882" image

    "260 SILVER QUARTERS"...Drool...

"SKYLIGHT DOME, 34' IN DIAMETER"... A thirty four foot dome.... Have fun moving that thing... Holy smokes.

I like a lot of the furniture but would have no where to put it.

The "Folk Art Cane" could pull some $$ with the right buyer.

I try to keep an eye on who is spending time with the auctioneer/host before bidding and then avoid what that person bids up.

Its easy to go over the value of a good deal at those places. Its on the edge of my traveling threshold or I'd go.

Knowing the exact price of spot at the moment helps and what the top value for the quarters that makes it worth it. Coinflation says the silver value is worth $987.
Add the 16% charge add-on means you pay $158 on top of the winning bid, so that brings the bidding value base down to $829, and of course it would be desirable to win under that cost. They won't mention that when they say its a good deal. What's the prices vs the local B&M. Ordinary mixed lot. Get them physically in hand upon the winning bid. Cash, or add another CC 3% to costs.

The costs above the winning bid:
"All items are sold as-is, where-is. No returns; no refunds. A buyers' premium of 11% is assessed on all purchases. Pennsylvania state sales tax of 6% is assessed on all purchases unless the buyer is legally exempt and files a sales tax license with us. Payment must be made in full the day of the auction by cash, Pennsylvania check with proper ID, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. We also accept Visa and MasterCard debit cards. (Sorry, but we do not accept American Express.) Removal is the sole responsibility of the buyer."
