Are there any experts on here that could explain the good/bad of the certified autos? To my understanding, an auto was randomly inserted into factory sets, at a pretty low rate. And the autos are always on the back, with an accompanying sticker...which to me, makes these cards a forger's dream.
What do you look for in raw examples to lessen the chances of getting screwed? Of any player that I would be looking for, I halfway know what their signature should look like (but hell, the reality of that is, if it looks close I'm not going to know the difference). From what I can see, the sticker generally covers, or touches, the autograph. Was that how Star Pics tried to guarantee them?
Does anyone have an experience in buying these raw and submitting them for player master sets?
