What Happened with the PSA 9 Finest Refractor Set on eBay

Sold last night for $12,100, now invalid, and seller non registered. Did it not exist?

Guess he didn't hit his reserve

or

When Ebay took a look after the big sale price he got zapped for not taking PayPal.

There was no reserve, but he is now non registered. Has sold big ticket items before as well. Maybe he had to have funding immediately available to pay the bill, and wasn't there.

I missed that auction.

I remember back when that stuff came out, I had close to 100 refractors and sold them to 1 guy for great money.
1st refractor I pulled was the Ryan! Got $800 for that card back in 1993
