Every year the University of Miami holds a "cansefest" event. One of the highlights is they have the football team all sit in a row and sign items for the fans. You wait in line and you get 1 of 3 "rows" of players. You can get back in to try for another row or even 3 in the 2 hours of the signing. I usually would get a helmet signed by the team and maybe an extra mini of the biggest stars.
Not any more. This from the event website.
The free event is set to run from 4-7 p.m. Saturday. Free parking is available in the BankUnited Center lots. Doors will open at 4 p.m. and the football team is expected to sign autographs and meet fans from 5-7 p.m
Coaches and student-athletes will be available to sign autographs. As part of the University of Miami’s commitment to NCAA compliance and in light of recent national news, student-athletes will only sign the official Miami Hurricanes athletics team posters that will be provided for free at the event. Please do not bring or ask student-athletes to sign other items. Your cooperation and support for the athletics department in complying with NCAA regulations is greatly appreciated.
Thank you Jonny Football

Just offer to bring in some hookers or other recreational "stuff" for the players and I am sure they will sign anything for you. This is the Canes we are talking about after all.
