I have a 2012 Finest Moments Autographs Die Cut Refractor, Ser:#1/25 BGS 10 & 10 Auto, POP 1. Cross to PSA or keep it BGS? Please provide your reasoning for either suggestion. Thanks.

Since it's a new shiny card, BGS is probably the best holder for that card anyway.

There has not been enough information provided. For example if this were a registry set and you had no intention of selling and it was a card that could make it impossible for someone to top your set you might take a value cut to accomplish this.
Share a few more details.
rookies101: Is this still true for a factory certified auto? I have another card that is PSA 10 TOPPS ARCHIVES FRAMED Ser: #10/25. It's on a red flip, just says PSA/DNA CERTIFIED on the bottom portion. Does not say "Auto Only" like I'm guessing you mean would be the case.
<< <i>Dpeck: Good question. I'm not sure I knew the answer to that question until you asked it. Or at least I hadn't really thought it out in depth. For now I'm collecting a few players because it's fun, without a plan to sell them. I would say my main goal is collecting the finest registry set possible. I'm only considering the crossover because there's no way to have a PSA/BGS hybrid set (although this does give me an idea for a website/app). However, my future economic situation never being a certainty, I'd like to make sure the cards retain as much value as possible in case I were to sell them. I was hesitant because I thought it might lose value and I have to assume PSA would be bagging a die-cut and I think the BGS solution is sexier.

Leave it where it is. If you need it in a PSA slab to fill a spot just work on getting a cheaper lower grade example to match your set and don't take any chances on this item that could potentially reduce its value. Longer term if you are still dedicated to the set and your economic outlook seems strong perhaps take a chance then to crack it or try and cross it.
A card purchased on EBAY and sold on EBAY by you needs to go up by at least 13% from your purchase price to break even so we are already at a disadvantage when we buy. Good luck.
These cards are part of my "SECRET" collection referenced in a few posts. I'm saving them up to reveal as a big group, seems more fun that way...
