Are there any Morgan Error collectors here

I found an error when cherry picking (If it is an error) and would like help understanding it.

Since the auction is still going, I dont want to post pictures or a link.

  • It was explained to me that it is a strike through.

    If it goes cheap enough, it's worth a shot. But chances are it's going to be a scratch, or toning or......

    Any error is collectable, but couple that with a rare VAM and it can really be a winner.

    Any feature that is remarkably distinct without the aid of magnification. Off center strike, partial collar strike, double strike(with a rotation of the coin between strikes), rotated reverse die strike, capped die, strike through foreign matter among the more dramatic features.

    Not sure that's much of an error. I just see a vertical black streak. Not sure what it is from the picture. The edge of the wing seems too close to the back of the head, too, which means there's a lot we're seeing that isn't what is actually on the coin.
