My recent PSA order

Hello all,
I don't get a chance to post much on these boards. Just wanted to share my grades on my recent PSA order. I collect mostly 80's now (OPC hockey and Topps Football/Baseball). I renewed my PSA subscription last month, this is my second year using them. I was using BGS prior to that, but decided to start using PSA as they seem to command a higher premium on the 80's stuff. Overall, I've been very satisfied with the grades and service from using PSA. This particular order was sent using the July (45 day) special, and they only had it for 7 business days. Very fast turnaround. The highlight of this order for me was the (PSA 9) '81 opc Jari Kurri. Bought 2 raw on ebay relatively cheap, submitted both and 1 came back with a 9, which is a tough grade for that card. Also happy with the (PSA 10) '83 OPC Ripken as I do not receive many 10's from PSA. Most of these cards were raw purchases and pack pulled cards, but a bunch were also old BGS crackouts.

Is it the fact that you're order was so small that it's turnaround was so quick? It's been some time since I've had a bulk order completed inside of even 35 business days...and I've used PSA for many years now.

That baffles me. I spend thousands in grading fees every year so that can't possibly be why. Do you have to break the 10k barrier in order to get quick flips? Ironically the last order that did get turned quick was a supersize order. I'd love to hear any other theories
