How come 1975 OPC psa 8's sell for more than..

topps 8's but, apparently opc 9's and 10's do not? Even raw a nice opc will usually sell for more than a topps. ANyone got the answer.
Work hard and you will succeed!!

  • I think it has to do with the registry and the fact that OPC doesn't qualify for some/most sets.
  • took me a LONG time to find a decently centered PSA 8 OPC Brett RC

The registry has a lot to do with it. Slowly people are starting to catch on to OPC. You look at the pop reports on Topps and see numbers graded at 50/70/90 or more in PSA 9! Now look at the Topps PSA 8 pop numbers in the 120/140/160+ and stars way above these numbers. There are 180 Brett PSA 9 Topps rookies - ONLY 15 PSA 9 OPC rookies. The pop numbers on OPC 9's on most are 1/2/3/ maybe 5 here or there.
9's/10's are a BIG bargain in OPC!
