If I have a PSA graded pack with a star on back that wasn't put on the tab, do I send it back in the original holder with instructions to place stars name on the tab or crack and resubmit?

Yes.

The normal reholder fee would apply. Don't forget to indicate you want the star player name added to the flip--PSA will only add it if you mark it down on submission form. Some people will add names of even the most minor star player and they will add it if you put it down on the form.

Yes I have done this several times and usually 50% of the time it goes in at a 1 grade lower with the other 30-35% split between the same grade and 2 grades lower. So if you want to ensure a GAI 9 gets cased I would put a min PSA 7 grade. Of course you do have to be aware that 15-20% of the time that a random GAI pack won't get graded. Of course you can cut this percentage by knowing a lot about GAI grading years and flips.
