Do PSA holders dammage cards?

I remember reading a post a while ago, and someone mentioned that PSA cases have been known the damage cards. Is this actually true and if so, how? Just curious to know.

My two cents, they can. If I remember the thread you're referring to correctly, there was discussion of damage to the card between grading and getting slabbed. From what I've seen, any card that is not snug in the holder can also be damaged, especially edge chipping from sliding around on issues such as 1990 Pro Set that are quite thin compared to standard card stock.
