Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Sorry I'm somewhat new to the boards and collectiong PSA cards, but what is a "group rip"?

    Thanks,
    Doug
  • You can search "Group Rip" in this forum and should see a bunch started by cincyredlegs that will give you a thorough explanation of what it is. In a nutshell though, it starts with a willing member(typically cincyredlegs),the Baseball Card Exchange Website and a thread.......interest is generated about the full boxes to break....and ultimately a new "Official" group Rip thread is created once the member that starts it negotiates with BBCE(normally get 10% off the price). It's all sold by the pack and fills rather quickly.

That was just slightly uncanny. I could feel it coming, and I missed it by a matter of seconds.
