Based upon those prices I'd have to say Maury Wills at $20.00 is a bargain!

I'll be there, it's unfortunately the only show I can really ever make it to. I guess I shouldn't be anticipating any '75 mini wax cases or '71 cello packs though image

He signs a lot around LA and used to be very inexpensive(still is at $20$, but in the 90's was $5 or less)

He actually enjoys meeting the public. Really nice guy and despite personal demons he has not let life get him down. Super personable and he does quite a bit of public outreach.

In the 80's, Union 76 gas station(a dodgers sponsor) used to do giveaways of pins and 8 1/2 x 11's of Dodger players or commemorating Dodger significant history. One was of Maury Wills 104th stolen base. I took it to a show and Mr Wills signed it boldly "John, best of wishes, Maury Wills". Big piece of Dodger history and I still have it hanging on my wall.
  • Pretty fair prices except for Paul O'Neil . Gaylord Perry and Bob Boone for Free is pretty good.

According to one of the Dodger blogs, Maury Wills will be signing for free on the 17th at a sporting goods store grand-reopening in the Los Angeles area (Sports Authority in Hawthorne). If you're not in the L.A. area and have something you want him to sign, this may be a good opportunity to see if any friends from L.A. can help you out.

Who would pay $44 to have Charile Hayes sign his name, and the write 'Final Out '96 W.S'.

At the last minute I was going to try to make it to the show. However, things are not falling into place and I won't be able to make it there today. To everyone that is going ... have fun!

Was gonna go Sunday..what did you hear about the show so far?

I should be used to it by now, but the show was disappointing. A few dealers with super high end stuff (PSA 9 Brett rookie, SGC 96 '71 Munson, etc.) at crazy prices, and then the usual off grade junk. I did pick up a perfect '75 mini cello (originating from Conlon) and a few nice PSA 9 '72 commons...not much else. Oh, a non-sport dealer named Steve Sabow had a '75 rack with well-centered Yount showing for $1200.
