Leland's has offered a $1,000,000 bounty to anybody who can turn up the long-lost signed confession of Shoeless Joe Jackson for throwing the 1919 World Series. The Wall Street Journal has written a great article on the subject, which isn't nearly as straightforward as you might think:

    They can offer up $100,000,000,000,000,000. I am sure it was burned or shredded long ago if it existed at all.
