just opened 2 boxes of 1992 leaf

the black gold cards are sweet looking. i looked at the pop report, there are less than 50 black ones to ever receive a 10 in 21 years. Amazing. this might be a set/subset that might be ionenvesting in. it takes an average of 7 boxes to get every one.

Great set. I used to be indifferent to the base set, but it's not too bad to me now. Yes, the Black Gold parallels are phenomenal. I have two complete sets of the Black Gold and bought a couple others to swap individuals to get a higher grade set.

As you said, there aren't many graded by PSA. There are some 10's for sale on eBay, but the 9's usually don't go for much unless it's a HOF'er. As expected, centering and chipping is a problem. I've never sent one in for grading.

    Currently collecting PSA graded:

    1991 & 1992 Fleer Pro Visions
    1952 Topps
