Never Had This Happen!

After no payment for a card I sold, the buyer promises to pay by such and such day and doesn't. After a few more days I sent a cancellation request to recover fees and resell the card. After a week the buyer finally refuses the cancellation request. Ebay says to work it out and no fees will be refunded. Of course still no payment. What happens next?

Instead of sending a cancellation request, you should have filed an NPB, which can only be resolved by either the buyer making payment or you closing out the case to report no payment received, in which case the buyer receives (quite deservedly) a non-paying strike.

    Can I still do that?

I'm not sure. Go toi the auction and see if there is still link to resolve or report a problem. It should be there if you can.

Yea......it sounds like you messed up. The buyer should have paid for the card, and if he didn't, then he deserved a non paying bidder strike. Not sure if Ebay really does anything about non paying bidder strikes anymore, as this particular bidder had NUMEROUS non paying bidder strikes before Ebay finally kicked him off.....

Well I guess I'm stuck as the link is not there anymore. I have relisted the item and it ends Monday night. Would you cancel the item or let it sell again?

Sell it again. Block non paying bidder. Lesson learned.
