Post your bust quarter cuds! I recently received this one:

All retained cuds/cuds on bust quarters are rare, and some are pretty much unobtainable. It would make for an amazing set to have them all...

That's a tough one you have there, congrats. It's interesting...in the book Early Quarter Dollars of the United States Mint, this die state and the next are listed as an r-6+. The two die states before it are listed as r-7+ as well as the very last die state (full cud). Wonder how many coins could be minted from your coin's die state to the end of the die's life.

One of my favorite CUDs, sadly the bust quarter series doesn't have a huge amount of known CUDs. Dimes on the other hand are full of cuds.

Yours is obviously nicer! I'm still looking for my cud at arrows variety of this same year.

I think the intermediate die states may be listed as rarer because they are less noticeable and less collected when the authors did their census.

That being said, I haven't seen any 1825 B-3 intermediate states, and I've definitely been looking.

Here is the cud by the arrows 1825 B-2.

I know of cuds at least on 1806 and 1828 as well. Anyone have those to show?

The hard to find late die state 1825 B3 United cud and the even tougher B2 Arrows cud took a long time to locate, Here are the examples in my collection
