Online breaks meet vintage graded cards

PSA 8 '75 Topps BB set being randomed on BO.
It's already more than halfway sold out at $10 a slot.
I'm really surprised at how many people are buying into this - if you're working on that set, buying random cards isn't a good way to progress toward completion, and there aren't that many hits that are worth much more than the cost of 2 slots.

Edited to add: Now if a 1970 set was being handled the same way the seller would need to charge about $20/card to make a
decent profit over current VCP PSA 8 prices-- I'd probably take a 1 in 720 chance to get a PSA8 Ryan, Munson, Bench or Mays.
With Brett and Ryan at around 200 in an 8 I guess guys like the 10:1 payout vs the 330:1 odds if you buy two slots.
Aaron at the front and back are 100 each also. And you never know. You pick up a bumpable Powell or low pop common and you did ok.
