PSA Submissions over 45 days!

What the hell is going on at PSA?

I submitted 361 items back on April 25th. I called PSA for an update today and they said they could not even give me an estimate on when they would be graded.

I am now going on 65 days which could go to 80 days!

I was hoping to bring new product to the National Convention but now that is a pipe dream.

Anyone else having issues getting PSA submissions back in a reasonable timeframe?

That is not a good answer. The staff might be stretched thin due to preparations for National. Even so a little customer service refresher

    Erik -

FWIW my last coin/pin submission (bulk sub Feb 2013) went 75 business days.

    Edited to add:

Further, IMO the grades were the most inconsistent (in a bad way) I have ever received. Not only among the submission itself but versus examples that I already own.

I just called them about one of my orders as well and they told me that they are a little behind. I did find out that they will still be grading while at the National so there will not be a halt with production. Let's keep our fingers crossed they hit soon.

My last one was 72 business days. I think they have few new people so maybe the training process is a little slow know but will pick up in the near future.

I have a few submissions past 45 days as well and called yesterday and was told they would not be grading next week after Tuesday as all the graders would be involved with the National thereafter.

Guys, my order submitted March 30 just popped last night. I actually wrote an email in to customer service to make sure everything was OK yesterday afternoon. No reply from it, so not sure if they in turn did something to move it along, or if the timing was just a coincidence, but either way, it is finally on its way back. So if you're talking about an order from April 25, don't be surprised if you wait another 2 or 3 weeks.

From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

  • I wonder if PSA would ever consider setting up a grading shop on the east coast.

I wonder if that would be good business sense.

I had a monthly special this month pop in a week, it was 36 cards from all the same set. I sent a Collectors Club off today, not sure how long it will take by running into the national.

I had an Express order go 27 days and currently have a Super Express order sitting at 8 days. I used the vouchers from the Express order for the Super Express so I'm not too concerned about it.
