I'm with you. I wanted the bar code to remain on the reverse. BUT, I'm sure PCGS didn't make the change on a whim. There was a business reason, which I gave my opinion about in another thread on this subject. Given the fact that the decision was made, what makes anyone think that a poll now will cause PCGS to switch back? When the switch was first announced here, there was almost complete agreement by posters that the change should not have been made and it made the label look too clustered. Why the sudden desire to try to change something that would now be very costly to PCGS. If they wanted our opinion, they would have asked BEFORE going to the expense to make the change. Yes, it does cost PCGS money to make a change like this. You don't think they first evaluated the potential cost savings of putting all the variable data on the front of the label and the generic PCGS logo only on the back? There is big savings for them to do it that way. And THAT, in my opinion is why they did it and why they won't change it again for at least three years. Steve

Put it on back and screw PCGS reason to save money after, all its our slabs there could also be an option on holdering the coins on the submission form, check a box if you want the deluxe holder and be charged for it, after all we pay for it anyway, If you want the cheap looking holder , you simple check that box.....

I like the bar code on the back of the slab. However, judging from my most recient submission, I'm just a splatered insect on the windshield of PCGS. A.K.A. they didnt ask me :-).

I'm still trying to figure out who uses the barcode, let alone
the hologram; why not put EVERYTHING on the back, and sell add
space on all the dead spaces on the slab! Remember, "buy the
    coin, not the holder"....

Just an idea people, if we move all the words and barcode to the back of the slab, we make room on the front for advertising . How does eat at Mcdonalds grab you. It could raise income for the company just like looking at ads in the movie theatre after you pay 9 dollars for a ticket, another 7 dollars for popcorn and a final 3 dollars for a drink. We could all become just like the cap on a soda bottle " screwed on tight" Regards Bear
