Wow, 4SC is going ape right now...

So I decided to list some PSA cards today, and I go to search for them and find that they're already buried several pages deep under and between thousands of 4SC listings. They've listed over 300 Ripken PSA 10s alone in the past 24 hours, not counting the tens of thousands of other PSA cards.

So word to the wise, if you want your listings to linger a little longer than three minutes at the top of a "sort by newly listed" search, wait a couple days. Wow...

    I think that was last week. I had an ebay offer to list up to 100,000 auctions for free for six days. I thought to myself... "up to"? As if...

    A few days ago they ended a ton of listings all at once and just started to relist them yesterday, I thought it was some kind of company error or something like that.

    I had an eBay offer...up to 800,000 free lots
    even if I had that many single cards, imagine the time to scan & post each one?
    Then imagine getting bids on say 30,000 of them....I'd go nuts, even moreso then usual image

    Looks like a great marketing scheme. Add most of your inventory at once, people see this and then visit the website. Although i did notice a lot of what they had previously on the website that was priced at 6.99 or less is now at 8.99 with no discount from ebay price to web price.

    The usual discount shown on their website is gone but they did send out an email saying save 13% with code national13 this week.

    Look up one posting for the magic word to get the 13% discount.

    Ubfortunately, the web site is non-functional this morning. Response is horrible. Eventually, I get an error message in line 301 of some code.

    Wow. I just went and checked.

    I check ebay everyday for things I like, but today I decided not to.

    So if anyone listed anything good, then I'm not going to find it.

    I'll wait until tomorrow when all those auctions get pushed down.

    I do not buy from them anymore after getting a few very over-graded cards.

    They also listed a bunch of non sport stuff- stuff that they obviously would have NEVER gotten graded if I hadn't started the set. Odd how they're all 10s too.

    I've purchased one card from them out of about 15 that doesn't represent a 10 in my limited experience. I was thinking about calling them to see if they will refund/exchange. Is this a possibility or not gonna happen?

    Tuesday night was buying a Carlton RC PSA 8 , beautifully centered, when it disappeared from my cart while trying to pay for it at 2 am EST. Called the next day, apparently there was some kind of error as the card still showed up in their inventory. So I was able to purchase the card, paid for it on Wednesday. Today I get a refund, card wasn't available after all. So there was either a cart malfunction, or an inventory screw up, or they pulled the card to regrade. Any one smell a rat?

    If the card doesn't match the description you can return it. If you just don't like it you can't.
