I need an all-in-one printer/scanner to scan my PSA graded sports cards

I know these threads pop up all the time, but I am in need of a wireless (WiFi compatible) printer/scanner with CCD scanning technology for under or around $200, under is better. I see the Canon PIXMA MP990 suggested a lot and it is exactly what I want, but I really don't want to spend $300+. Any other options? What do you suggest?

I used the 990 a lot. I did not care for it. The scanner in my opinion is good, but it is noisy and uses a lot of ink. You have to have more than 1 color for it to work, which add up quickly. I use the Epson XP 400 as an all in one and it is doing the job well.

I appreciate the suggestion. Isn't that CIS scanner though? Which doesn't scan PSA or BGS slabs well/clearly?

Correct. I am not even sure there is a all in one with CCD. When I was looking for a new printer a few months ago, I never came across one.

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600.

It works well and was not very expensive.

My wife purchased an HP Photosmart 5520 (3 in 1) for our office.
Wi-Fi compatible; it's fast, scanner is decent and it was under $150.

Do any of these scan PSA and BGS slabs well? Does anyone have any examples? I don't need CCD scanning as long as the CIS scans slabs well.

The quality of my scans for slabs on the 3 in 1 looks just like Dpeck's.
I don't really use it very often because of the quality.

Check out an HP Officejet Pro 8600. You can find them on sale for around $150. They have a 4800 DPI Scanner, good print speeds and the solid ink yield on the cartridges.

Well, I bought a Canon PIXMA MG8220. It's an all-in-one (minus fax) and is CCD. Hopefully it will be good. Fingers crossed.
