Grade deduction for water damage?

What is the deduction for small water damage? It's 3/4" x 1/10" along the border of a sharp 1960? If not for this, I would say 7 to 8.

A scan would be of help.

  • There is very slight "bubbling" on the edge. Hardly noticable, but there.

I can't really see from your scan any front of the card problem. The back shows a slightly darker area, but PSA might not even deduct for that. You certainly have a SWEET card!

In my experience PSA almost ignores the back of the card, and they don't spend a lot of time on the front either. You might not ever get a crease or even a light wrinkle past them, but if a card has a defect, a light stain gives you the best chance of avoiding a qualifier, in my opinion.

Good luck, hope for an 8!!!!!
