Question re: 1989 Topps Heads Up Test - PSA Grading

I see that PSA has graded some 1989 Topps Heads Up Test Cards

These cards, while very rare, are made with a suction cup...the marketing materials with them essentially had school kids hanging them in their lockers.

For PSA grading purposes, is the suction cup removed? If so, has anyone here done so? I'm very curious to see a scan or hear any more information anyone can provide on this issue.

Thanks,
marc

could possibly the test card versions have no suction cup?

just a thought (I'd like to see a scan as well).

Here is a scan of the 1989 Topps Heads Up Test #3 Dwight Gooden:

and a scan of the 1990 Topps Heads Up #3 Dwight Gooden:

At least in the case of the 1990 Topps Heads Up, the suction cup was removed.

Marc, my assumption had always been that the suction cup wasn't permanently attached to the photo. I just assumed that it was separate and had a hook which the photo would hang on (the hole in the top portion of the photo).

Admittedly, this isn't based on ever having one in-hand so, like many of my other posts, there's a strong probability that I've contributed nothing of substance here.

Just picked this up. Won't grade perfectly due to a very small crease and a smudge on back, but it's awesome!

Edited: Added new images of the card in holder. Received a PSA 5 EX grade.

Not sure about the grading aspect. I can tell you that I have a 1989 Ozzie Smith. It took me forever to find one. They are insanely rare.
