BCCG 10 TO PSA ?

Hey all,

I have a chance to pick up a card that I haven't seen for sale in a psa grade. This card is in a bccg 10 holder which is mint or better. Has anyone had any luck crossing bccg 10 to a psa 9 or better?

  • My experience is that BCCG 10's will probably end up in PSA 7's or 8's at best.

I would treat it like a raw card. I bought a few that would have graded 7 if I sent them to PSA and others here say they have sent some 10s and gotten back 10s.

  • I've crossed three BCCG 10's and ended up with two 8's and a 9.

The odds are not good IMHO.

Could be anywhere from PSA 5 to PSA 10. Does this seller seem to use BCCG exclusively? If not, then your odds for a higher cross grade are reduced.
  • Pay what you would feel comfortable paying for a PSA 8, and you should be OK.

I've bought a few cards graded by a company other than BGS or PSA looking to crack and submit and have been disappointed each time. I refuse to buy anymore cards graded by companies other than BGS or PSA.
