Hello All!

Over the past three years, the old Large Cents have become my obsession.. my passion... my drug! I scan and scan all sites looking to add new Largies to my collection that is in my budget. Here and there, you find them... slabbed.. unslabbed.

I'd love to have this thread be an ongoing thing where only Largies for sale could be put up! Would be a lot easier to organize and find them, that's for sure!

Anyone? Got any for sale?

    only one i have for sale is an 1847/18/1 raw in approximately xf condition...not sure how much would be a fair price but i would listen to offers!! by far a cool variety!

    Is the over date pretty obvious or pronounced? I tried looking up that variety on NuisMedia.. .didn't list that variety. Not sure what the fair price on it would be.

    I like the idea, but we need to figure out a means to limit the bumps and replies, to keep in compliance with the rules
    and not upset other members that this thread is continually at the top.
    As a start, if someone posts a coin someone else is interested in, they should be PM'd, not reply to this thread.
    Maybe the Sports Moderator can advise how to maintain a thread such as this?

    This is an excellent idea. I would not be upset that it got bumped to the top frequently as long as the post that bumps it is the addition of a coin for sale. Like Walkerguy21D said, a PM would suffice for any other message need. And, like the bargain bin, it could be done monthly so as not to result in a gargantuan thread with thousands of posts over time.
