Vancouver card shops?

Hi All,

I am taking the family on a Disney cruise that leaves out of Vancouver. We decided we would go a couple days early to visit Vancouver. Does anyone know of any card stores in Vancouver? Also, any advice on places to go see while we are there?

I would appreciate any input,

  • Bike around Stanley Park

Walk/Hike at the Capilano Suspension Bridge park
  • There was one downtown about 20 years ago. They sold comics and cards. Haven't been there in 20 years though.
The city of Vancouver and Vancouver Island are great places to visit. Not too sure how kid friendly it is. I think it's better for young couples.
Your kids may smell pot while they walk down the streets at night.
  • Things to see, yes Stanley Park. Card Shops? Not really unless you are hurting for modern Vancouver Canucks cards.

There's a comic shop on Granville Street that used to sell cards. I think they still sell new packs, but I don't think they deal in vintage anymore.

For a tasty sandwich, try Meat and Bread down in Gastown.
  • The store on Granville street is Golden Age collectables. I was in there a couple months ago but no vintage sports cards. They did have vintage comics and a lot of cool stuff but I didn't buy anything. I remember the good old days - buying unopened wax. I pulled my Bossy rookie in the store but that was 25 years ago and the pack only cost $7.00.

I haven't found any other card stores in Vancouver. They used to be all over the place but have all closed up over the last 20 years.
  • Thanks for the information guys. Definitely want to try anything called "meat and bread".

Would love to hear more from any others
