He was traded to the Mets in May 1972, so it might be a Mets jersey even though he is pictured on the card as a Giant. Wouldn't be the first time they got the wrong patch on a card, I have seen game used jersey "patches" of Harmon Killebrew with green fabric on them and there's no green on Senators, Twins or Royals uniforms, is there?.
Either way SUPER CARD!!
Joe
sorry but that so called 'card'.... is still a brand new modern, glossy, intentionally overhyped limited edition, non-contemporary, non-issued FREE with a product or service of some kind, pseudo 'baseball card'.... which has attached to it a fraction of a (now destroyed forever) historical baseball artifact, included specifically/solely for the 'card' companies monetary gain...
it could show a picture of Candy Cummings... it still wouldnt catch the interest of 99.7% of the truly vintage baseball card collectors....
vintage = old ie older than your grandpa
w/ a high % of them used abused and destroyed over time... thus naturally becoming unintentionally scarcer or rare (unlike a 1/1 or 1/of anything)

Ill redefine even further. If I open a pack of cards and get something where my first thought is not "wow that's a cool card", but rather "damn I bet that's worth some money", its time to exit the hobby. If I wanna play poker, ill hit up the yellow chip games at Commerce. If I wanna gamble, ill hit the craps tables in Vegas.
