Man, I LOVED Barbara Eden when I was a kid! Look at her today, not too many 81 year olds look like that.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.
I really wish this hadn't been posted, LOL. I keep going back to the ebay pages. I just know that before the weekend is out, that I'm going to be $175 or so lighter in the pocket from a bottle and shipping. My conference table in my office at work is dying to have a genie bottle as a centerpiece. I loved watching all those types of shows growing up. I Dream of Jeanie, Munsters, Green Acres, Leave it to Beaver, etc, etc, etc.
I have absolutely no need for one of those, but a neat reminder of fun childhood moments, sometimes overrides practical thinking

Mike,
Where would you have Barbara Eden sign your new bottle
Where would you have Barbara Eden sign your new bottle >>
You read my mind. Ive already been on her website to see her autograph policy. She will sign photos with a SASE so im inquiring to see if she would sign a bottle as long as I sent proper return packing
Also found out that the bottles on ebay are done by the mother of the jeanniebottles site guy. I asked her how much for one of the bottles that lights up on the inside and that has a small Jeannie inside on her couch, but she said those are done by her son at the jeanniebottles site.
Do you guys think it would be smart to have the manufacturer (or yourself) put something on the bottom of the bottle that could be signed ?
That way the light wouldn't fade the autograph over the years because the auto would be on the bottom of the bottle. Too much risk I think having Barbara sign the glass.

According to the bottle seller, Eden is going to be at a show with her son in September in LA. might be a short project, hopefully the bottle will be secure enough to withstand a couple mailings. The primary difference between the bottles sold by the mom vs the son other than price, is that the mom uses glass and the son uses brass. I'd like the sturdier brass one but I'm not paying for that, so went with the glass one

$300.00 ... and just think what you may have gotten from Barbara Eden for $300.00 back in 1957 when she first appeared on the I LOVE LUCY Show!

Very cool piece
Mike
Gotta use a certain type of Sharpie for glass if that's what this bottle is made from. Paint pen seems to be best for glass?
Mike will know surely. I really only do (various) ink signatures on paper and photographs.
Best wishes,
Eric

Thoughts ?
Keep us updated on what you find out.
I think I will get a purple bottle signed by Barbara if it is possible.
This sounds like one heck of a fun project.

PS - Purple and gold go great w/good contrast

I rubbed my bottle every time she came on!!!!!!!!
Was she hot then. Some sites show her being born in either 1931 or '34.

She's in an early Andy Griffith Show episode, too. She does nails in Floyd's shop and every woman in Mayberry is jealous of her.
I don't remember that episode!!!!
