New King of the 1969T Baseball Registry!

Did anyone notice Merkel came out of nowhere to overtake Spence for the 1969T baseball registry award this year? It's surprising because it's much newer than his other regular issue sets. I didn't even realize he's been buying them but he has a few low pop toughies like the #52 Mike Andrews and #78 Tom Satriano (pop 2) in PSA 9.
