Home Trading Cards & Memorabilia Forum

Hello Henry. '68 Topps Milton Bradley's added. And an unopened box ;-)

this card has been just hanging out, allowing me to covet it for over a year, while the larger portion of an accumulation from which it came has been redistributed.

so i finally got around to having a brief discussion and negotiating with my 1/2 partner on the deal in order to declare complete ownership.

now it is mine, the very first Aaron rookie to compliment the other beauties in my collection. welcome to the family All-Time Greatest Home Run King. image

Thats a really nice Aaron RC! Congrats to you Jeff.

I really want to replace the one I had as well. Just can't find anything that nice.

  • Congrats on breaking free of the collective of collectors. Not only do you have a great card all to yourself- but you can finally start referring to yourself in the first person again!

In the grand scheme of things, it seems this card goes a bit under the radar and might be a little underrated considering his career accomplishments. A beautiful card, congrats!

thanks gents for the nice compliments, much appreciated....my Aaron card collection is always a work in progress and adding the rookie was something i had been looking forward to for quite awhile.

Another great looking card Jeff. Are you collecting just his Topps cards or the odd ball stuff too?

I've been working on a 1972 raw set, but I haven't picked up my Aaron yet. Too much other stuff keeps distracting me. image

    Very nice Aaron rookie!

Those MB's are not easy to find, from my experience. I looked for a Cardinals team set for a few years before I pieced one together.

And because most MBs started out as handled game cards it is difficult to find them in top condition. The Aaron's are nice
