Wow how I sometimes wish it was 1977 again!

Raise your hand if you've had your parents place orders for these for you!!!

I am sure you are right. They are the same price so they have nothing to get upset about.

Hmmmm, 1977? I had hair, was still in HS, Munson was the Yankees, the Devils had just moved to Colorado from Kansas City and the NFL Giants were pathetic. Life was good!

This made me laugh. I have that very Steelers glass pictured in the add sitting above my computer screen. I've owned it since it was new.

"A perfect gift for football fans ages 6 to 96."

I'm all over this. Nothing says Christmas quite like a figurine of Earl holding the ball like a loaf of bread about ready to truck someone -- for my 88-yr-old g-pa.

The 3 most important things to me in 1977 were (in no particular order): KISS, Star Wars and Topps cards. Gabba gabba HEY!

The players were not specific. All of them came with stickers and you could put whatever number you wanted on them.

1977 was a great year indeed. Star Wars, Saturday Night Fever, Kiss, Sex Pistols. Although I have to ask, since Earl Campbell's likeness is there, this would be post-77, would it not?

No wonder I don't remember these...there are no New York Jets or Giants. image
