If only the original Don West was a super lawyer in addition to everything else on his resume. He could try and sell the jury sports memorabilia during recesses or call the action wrestling style for the folks at home watching on tv. That'd be great!
ha ha....I remember being in college and watching Don at like 2 am. He was always selling junk wax/sets/or thinking you could get a mickey mantle card somehow in his blue chip special! The phone lines were always jammed, he said, but to keep calling and "hope" that you could get through to get in on the deal.
Two of my specific memories were... One time, he had a set deal, and he was offering basically junk factory sets from 1987 to 1992. He stacked one set on top of the other and all the sets about fell over, and he was like, "folks, this is a wall of cards".
The other one is he had a monster box deal where you could get like 10,000 cards of obvious junk. We'll the monster boxes fell over, the camera panned down to the mess on the floor, and don was like, "you could literally swim in cards from the amount of cards that you are getting in this deal!"
When him and kenny would get going, it was the best unintentional comedy skit you could imagine...
