1971 / 72 Topps Basketball Display Box

I've wanted one of these for a LONG time; never thought I'd find a 12 pack version:

That's very cool I feel like I am 10 years old again. Congrats on a cool pickup.

Nice pickup, much rarer than the 24 count box which is a tough one to find

Current obsession, all things Topps 1969 - 1972

interesting.....i'm skimming through a Mark Murphy price guide from 1996 and discovered that the 71-72 Topps 12-pack box was housed in a red, white & blue cardboard sleeve as part of a 24-pack "Dual Box", so there were 2 in the sleeve and it's obviously considered to be very rare.

at the time he had the Dual Box valued at 11K.

Yeah, I was checking that out tonight...I love to get the other box AND the sleeve...can't imagine too many of those made it out of 1971...
