1959 Topps FB Cello Break

Thought this was a series one pack as both front and back were series one but turned out to be both 1 and 2. Here is what I got and I would post pictures but keep getting a file exceeds 50kb, file deleted message.
002 Gene Brito*
005 Hugh McElhenny*
036 Gene Lipscomb RC*
051 Sam Huff RC*
053 Giants Pennant
071 Ken Panfil
083 Eagles Pennant
110 Bil Wade
116 Jerry Kramer RC*
121 George Strugar RC*
125 Jim Ninowski
160 Mel Triplett*
The asterisk indicates gradeable, others were sharp but too o/c.

  • Thanks for sharing, it's crazy to break a 59 cello! I thought the hardest part about judging conditioing was the top border. Some of the players heads exend to the top and I was never sure where the border started.

    It's an interesting set.

I bought a few 2nd series 40 card lots from Larry Fritsch years ago. From vending. Some of the commons in that set are tough. Isn't the bill wade always off center?

Lindon Crow, Junior Wren are also tough.

Thats awesome you pulled a Sam Huff RC and that it's gradeable. As soon as I saw the thread title I thought of the Huff RC. I am a huge fan of him. A real football player that is for sure.
