    That's a different Gary Carter. This one was a pitcher in the Senators organization.

    An interesting project even here is to click on the link , click on the 1967 Geneva Senators and match up some of the auto's on the ball , with the roster.---- Sonny

  • Probably most famous person there is Tom Grieve (looks like se signed it "Tommy"). Future General Manager of Rangers.
    My favorite ball players throughout the years: Hank Aaron, Dale Murphy, Ellis Burks, Lance Berkman

    How often were minor league balls stamped? Seems to me that a team and players who hadn't yet made the big leagues would be more inclined to take the time to sign by pen.

    I've seen minor league stamped balls before...not that unusual
